How do I choose the female character?+
To use female illustrations or a female reciter: open the app, tap Salah Settings (below the 5 daily prayers), choose your Illustration style and Reciter, then tap Save. The next time you open a prayer, your changes will be applied.
Are the rak'ah counts wrong?+
The app intentionally shows only the fard (obligatory) rak'ahs to keep things simple and help you learn the essentials by heart. If you're counting Sunnah too, the total will look higher. Check the Sunnah section for the full breakdown.
Why are Sunnah prayers missing?+
Sunnah prayers are intentionally not included in the same step-by-step autoplay format as the fard prayers. This keeps the app simple for beginners and helps you focus on learning the fard by heart first. Once you feel consistent, Sunnah becomes much easier because it's very similar. Please check the Sunnah section in the app.
The Salah feels slow. Can I make it faster?+
Some reciters in the app have a slower pace. If you want it faster, try a different reciter in Salah Settings and choose the one that feels right for you. And the best long-term "speed control" is learning the recitations by heart, so you can pray confidently without the phone.
Why are prayer times different from my mosque or other apps?+
The app is used worldwide, so it uses the widely accepted Muslim World League method to calculate prayer times. Local mosques and timetables may use a different method or a local offset, so differences can happen. Matching local mosque times everywhere is difficult, but it's an important work in progress for future releases.
How does Premium work?+
The app is fully usable without Premium and nothing is locked behind it. It's also ad-free, so everyone can learn without distractions. Premium is a small one-time payment that unlocks extra illustrations and reciters. Most of it goes back into improving the app and helping it reach more people.
Can I set different surahs for different prayers?+
Yes. Open Salah Settings and scroll to the bottom. Each prayer has an expandable section where surahs can be set for the 1st and 2nd rak'ah, or left as Random. Tap Save to apply changes.
Why do I need to double tap to stop autoplay?+
With this option enabled, accidental taps won't stop autoplay. To stop it, the Stop button must be tapped twice quickly, which is very unlikely to happen by accident.
What does Resume after interruption mean?+
If you accidentally leave the app and return shortly after, autoplay will continue instead of restarting the Salah progress.
What is the Image countdown in autoplay?+
It shows a 3-second timer on image steps. Moving between steps calmly is part of a focused prayer, but if the pace feels too slow for you, this option helps you adjust.
Why does the prayer not start with spoken intention?+
Niyyah (intention) is primarily in the heart. This is why the app keeps it simple and does not require specific words to start the prayer.
What is the best way to use this app?+
Use it as a short-term learning companion. Practice step by step, repeat often, and try to memorize the key parts as soon as possible. The goal is to pray confidently by heart without needing the phone.
