Privacy Policy — Salah App

We respect your privacy. This section explains what data we collect, why, and how it is used. By using the App, you consent to this Policy.

Data We Collect

Analytics events (Firebase Analytics): app usage metrics to improve features and stability.
Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): diagnostic data when the App crashes.
Anonymous authentication (Firebase Auth): an anonymous identifier used to manage in-app state (e.g., premium entitlement restore) without creating a personal account.
Device & app metadata: app version, device model, OS version, language/locale settings.

Payments

Purchases are handled by Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchase, depending on the platform you use. We do not receive or store your full payment card information. The relevant app store may provide non-sensitive purchase status information so the App can unlock or restore Premium access.

How We Use Data

Provide core functionality of the App.
Process and restore Premium access through Google Play or Apple.
Monitor performance, fix bugs, and improve the App.
Respond to support requests and user feedback.
Prevent abuse and maintain security.

In the EU/EEA (including Sweden), we process data based on: (i) legitimate interests (analytics, crash diagnostics, security), (ii) contract (providing the App and premium features), and (iii) consent where required by law (e.g., analytics if your jurisdiction requires consent).

We use service providers as data processors, primarily Google Firebase and Google Play, to deliver analytics, crash reporting, authentication, and billing. These providers process data on our behalf under their terms.

International Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers outside your country. Where required, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) may apply under provider terms.

Retention

We retain analytics and crash data for as long as needed to operate and improve the App, or as required by our service providers’ default retention periods.

Your Rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your data where applicable.
You may object to certain processing (e.g., analytics) where applicable.

Children

The App is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us to request deletion.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the Effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
